Today, I'm linking up with Jungle Learners to tell you all about my product swap with Hope from Teaching with Hope!
You may recall a couple of weeks ago that I featured Hope on my blog. In case you missed it, here's a link to that post.
Hope and I swapped products to test out in our classrooms. She tried out my Long Vowels Words Families Bundle and I tried out her Multiplication Centers and Giganti-Pack (Third Grade).
Hope's 73 page Multiplication Centers and Giganti-Pack includes 9 centre activities (both independent and partner-based) with student-friendly directions! The best part is there is minimal prep required. I don't know about you, but I'm always disappointed when I download a new product only to see pages and pages of game cards that need to be carefully cut apart and sorted. Only two of Hope's centres require games cards (labelled by game name, so it's easy to tell where they belong). The rest use stacking cups, "eyes" (I used bouncy balls), or plain old paper with spinners or dice. (Note: The pack also contains Exit Slips, but I haven't had a chance to use those with my class yet).
First I emptied out my Math Tubs, which were in desperate need of some fresh games. Then I printed Hope's centres (they look just as nice in black ink as they do in colour) and placed them into the bins, alongside some bingo chips to use as counters, regular dice and 12-sided dice, dry erase markers with erasers, and dry erase pockets. If you don't have dry erase pockets, I highly recommend purchasing some. However, you can just as easily use page protectors instead.
Here are some photos of Hope's centres in action!
My students liked "Doubles Bump" the best, but "Multiples Mania" was a close second!
Now for the best part...
Hope has agreed to let me give away a copy of her Multiplication Centers and Giganti-Pack! You can enter to win by using the Rafflecopter below.
