Spellingcity is a valuable spelling resource for both students and teachers. Simply create a free account, enter your spelling lists for the year, and the rest is up to your students! Students can access the lists by searching for your last name on the Spellingcity homepage. They can listen to the words being read aloud, play online games using the words, or print paper and pencil activities for at-home practice. Students who are absent during the test (and those who have fine motor difficulties) can take the test online and print a graded copy to hand into the teacher. I have been using Spellingcity for two years now and consider it one of my favourite resources for grades 1-4.
